Critique I have decided upon a three star rating due to potential. It has the potential to be a good game if the staff decides to change certain things. Basically this game would be a blast if everyone was equal and it was based on skill at the game. However it’s more based on how much you are willing to pay. I have been playing for months now and have still not unlocked the highest rated clubs despite being in a tour at or above where you can start unlocking them. I’ve noticed many people who have these clubs are players who decided to pay a ton of money for this games version of “loot boxes”. Other games understand that loot boxes will make them money just by unlocking cosmetic items that allow you to change appearance of a character, Golf Clash however has made it almost necessary to compete at the higher levels. When you first start the game it is fun because everyone has clubs with similar stats that still allow the better player to win. Once you pass Tour 7 or so it’s very different. It’s rare for a game to not end in a one shot playoff, which the person with the better clubs (the person who decided to pay for more “loot boxes”) wins. 80% of the time you will run into a player with a club that so outshines yours that you will be at a severe disadvantage. I strongly advise against this game for anyone who does not want to pay to have a fair match at some point. I have since deleted the game.
